How do I change my personal details or add more cover or people to my policy?

Depending on the change you want to make sometimes we need to issue you with a replacement policy. Changes to your address or contact details can be made without a replacement policy but any change in cover often means you will get a new policy number.

You can usually apply to upgrade or replace your policy in your personal account area by clicking the 'Sign in' button at the top of this page.

You should have received an email with your password when you first applied for a policy with us. If you have forgotten this just click on the reset password link to be sent a new one. Once you are logged in simply select the 'upgrade' or 'replace' option on the dropdown link to the right of the policy you wish to change and click 'GO'.

There is usually no administration charge to change your policy this way. If the 'upgrade' or ‘replace’ option is not available it is unlikely your policy can be changed however in this case you can apply to us directly by email. If we cannot amend your policy we may be able to replace it with a new one as long as you have not made or intend to make a claim. If you ask us to cancel or amend your policy we may charge an Administration Fee. Please see the answer to ‘What is your cancellation policy for travel insurance?' for circumstances under which we may charge a fee.

Please note you can only upgrade or replace your policy as long as you have not already benefited from it and have not made or intend to make a claim.

The cost of your upgrade will be the difference between the full price of your new policy and any refund on your old policy.
